Professionally speaking…
I was actually one of the first Wedding Content Creators in Ireland because it was an easy transition from creating corporate & business content when I seen the gap for it in Ireland! And from my first wedding morning I just absolutely fell in love! It’s funny because it’s kind of been an unintentional full circle that I ended up back in the wedding industry because in college 🎓 I studied Creative Media & Media Arts and wanted to graduate & start my own business designing wedding invites! Through my courses doing photography, videography, graphic design, marketing & more! Having already launched Grey Acre Studios doing social media management, I graduated with my BA & from then was creating content for businesses locally in Dundalk & further afield!
While I absolutely loved this chapter and it definitely gave me a strong foundation & creative eye to both capture curated content & deliver it with a quick turnaround, there is just nothing like the excitement of a wedding day to me! And I can’t wait to (hopefully!!) capture yours! With 100+ weddings captured I try my best to blend into the background of your day to get all the real & raw moments from you & your guests, so that you can relive them for years to come! 🎞️
Personally speaking…
For the majority of my 28yrs I have always been dubbed the family photographer, any occasions it was “Aisling will take the photos” & “Can you edit me a video with all the clips we got?” and I definitely think this has lent itself to me loving capturing the natural, candid moments & connections with the people you love on your wedding day over the posed moments because it’s what I’ve always done! I just love capturing people enjoy life! 💫
Something about me is I love noticing the magic in the everyday, in the mundane moments and being grateful for them! Which is why I love giving you the opportunity to look back at the little moments in between the big moments! Some of my favourite places that make up the magical moments in my life are…
🌊 the beach (where I’ll go for a dip in any weather)
🍿 the cinema (to watch anything {except horror movies, no thank you} with salted popcorn & a crispy coke zero)
📚 on the sofa with my kindle (to read pages & pages of romance or fantasy {can you see why I love wedding days!})
☕️ any coffee shop that makes a good iced white mocha (with hazelnut & cold foam, and preferably has pastries too)
🏰 or heading off to one of my places in the world (which is more very obviously filled with magic) disneyland paris!!
Although I capture everything with care, I am also very laid back and really try to bring “a calm, positive, energy” (one of my couples said this, not me 🤭) to your day!
what are the Video & Photo Edits actually like?
Because content creation is still relatively new to the wedding space it means a lot of creators are offering different things! Some creators give you short 10 second edits, some only send the original photos & videos, some send one 5min video a week later but here is generally how 99% of my wedding day content looks when you receive it the day after saying ‘I Do’!
Each Video Edit is approx. 60-120secs, of either a section of the day, a TikTok trend or your full day recap! The number of edits you get depends on your package! This length means it’s a long enough video to give you the full picture but a short enough edit for you to relive whenever you feel like it! 🎬
Using my own personally created presets I create warm, natural & nostalgic photo edits of your day!
Even on my morning package you will still be getting at least 30 edited images of the in between moments of the day which perfectly compliment all the main moments you get from your photographer! 📸
If you are looking for something a little different… no problem! I’ve created bespoke weekend long packages with 30+ edits or 2hr shoots with one 60sec edit! I am flexible to deliver content that is exactly what you are looking for!
